Since 2019, 100% of 3M products entering the commercialisation process have included a Sustainability Value Commitment (SVC).

In 2022, 3M achieved 51.9% renewable electricity across their global operations, and have reduced virgin fossil-based plastic use by 54.2 million pounds since 2021.

A focus on sustainable value will generate financial benefits to companies. A variety of benefits will include wasting less energy and materials, generating customer loyalty and investor value, developing a stable, integrated value chain and heightening employee engagement.
