3M Inspires the Next Generation of STEM Leaders at Bracknell HQ

3M hosted an engaging and educational STEM event at its headquarters in Bracknell, in collaboration with the global non-profit organisation Greenlight for Girls.

The initiative aimed to inspire young girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and maths. Over 120 girls attended, aged between 11 and 15.

The day was filled with interactive, hands-on activities designed to ignite curiosity and enthusiasm for STEM fields. These activities not only allowed participants to explore various scientific principles but also highlighted real-world applications of STEM knowledge. By showcasing how science and technology contribute to innovation and solving global challenges, 3M sought to motivate these young minds to consider future roles in STEM professions.

This event reflects 3M’s ongoing commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in STEM industries, particularly by encouraging and supporting young women to explore opportunities in fields where they remain underrepresented. Through such initiatives, 3M hopes to build a strong pipeline of future talent and contribute to a more inclusive and innovative workforce.
