HSM celebrates ten years supporting tropical rainforest foundation

HSM has announced the 10 year anniversary, supporting a tropical forest foundation.

OroVerde operates activates in three different protected areas in Guatemala, from rainforest to the the “Sierra del Lacandón” national park.

Since 2008, HSM has been supporting the protection of these valuable habitats. The three protected areas total more than 466,000 hectares, making a valuable contribution to species and climate protection.

Dr. med. Elke Mannigel, Head of International Projects at OroVerde said: “We would like to sincerely thank HSM for their financial commitment. Thanks to the support of HSM and our project partners, we can now carry out effective rainforest protection in so many project communities in Guatemala.”
