Durable’s Head of Commercial reflects on lockdown

Now lockdown is easing and more people are returning to work in the “new normal”, Durable’s Head of Commercial, James Day shares his experiences.

In a q&a session as part of Durable’s blog page, Day states that with the right equipment, working from home can be a breeze. He’d worked from home in previous roles so was looking forward to limited distractions and a slightly different way of working during lockdown.

Day said his biggest challenge was the lack of face to face contact with colleagues – something that we all felt as workforces became remote. He also said some of the technology mishaps proved to be a barrier at times!

However, he said one of the major benefits was finding more time for exercise, which also helps him to switch off. He also said he could have got through lockdown without his trusty Durafix for notes and prompts – and is looking forward to getting back to his daily routine!
