Durable UK Team “Wear It Pink”
On Friday 20th October 2023, the team at Durable UK came to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month by participating in the “Wear It Pink” campaign.
On this special day, the Durable UK team proudly wore various shades of pink clothing. The office was a sea of pink, and it was not just a fashion statement; it was a visual representation of our support for breast cancer patients and survivors.
They organised a bake sale, inviting colleagues to join in, in raising money for breast cancer research and support. The goal of the Pink Day was to raise money for Breast Cancer Now, and they were thrilled to have raised £116 for the cause. Every penny counted, and our contribution will go a long way in supporting those affected by breast cancer.
It wasn’t just about the funds, it was also about raising awareness. Breast cancer is a disease that affects millions of people worldwide, and early detection is crucial for successful treatment. Awareness of Breast Cancer can save lives.
