Newell Brands 2024 Sustainability Excellence Awards
Newell Brands announces the winners of its fourth annual Sustainability Excellence Awards.
The awards recognise initiatives across the company that reduce environmental impact and contribute positively to operations. They also give recognition to more sustainable solutions, often while providing cost savings or reducing waste.
The winners were:
- Rubbermaid Commercial Products®
- The writing team in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium
- The Baby team in Zeven, Germany
Other notable nominations included the Chennai, India, and Lonato del Garda, Italy teams’ solar projects; Auckland, New Zealand’s innovative use of ocean-bound plastic; and Mexicali, Mexico’s creative use of overlapping shifts to reduce operational costs and emissions.
