BIC champions creativity and innovation on World Creativity and Innovation Day

On April 21, 2025, BIC celebrated World Creativity and Innovation Day, reaffirming its commitment to fostering creativity as a catalyst for positive change.

Through the BIC Corporate Foundation, the company continues to support initiatives that empower young people worldwide to develop creative skills essential for personal and societal growth.

Since its inception in 2016, the BIC Corporate Foundation has backed over 50 projects across 24 countries, focusing on areas such as art, music, entrepreneurship and creative writing. These programmes aim to equip underserved communities with the tools to express themselves and drive innovation.

In conjunction with the International Society for the Study of Creativity and Innovation, the Foundation released a comprehensive report highlighting global research on creativity in education, involving 72 contributors from 22 countries. This initiative aligns with BIC’s broader goal of improving learning conditions for 250 million children by 2025.

Alison James, Executive Director of the BIC Corporate Foundation, emphasised the importance of creativity in education, stating, “Innovative approaches to education can ignite a passion for learning and empower students to reach their full potential.”

Through these efforts, BIC continues to champion creativity as a fundamental component of education and human development.
