Pentel marks major fundraising milestone

Stationery manufacturer Pentel is celebrating a significant fundraising achievement with more than £750,000 raised for men’s health charity Prostate Cancer UK since the start of its partnership in 2009.
Over the past 17 years, Pentel has sold more than 3.02 million charity pens, with a portion of each sale donated to help fund research and awareness initiatives aimed at earlier diagnosis.
If the pens sold were placed end to end, they would scale the world’s tallest building, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, over 529 times.
Prostate Cancer UK uses funds to support earlier detection efforts and vital services for men and their families facing the disease – the only major cancer in the UK without a national screening programme.
James Steven, Head of Partnerships at Prostate Cancer UK, praised Pentel’s long-standing commitment, calling the £750,000+ milestone “phenomenal.” He said: “The money raised has helped fund research into earlier diagnosis and helped us reach men across the country with vital risk awareness information. We look forward to continuing this brilliant partnership and helping save men’s lives.”
