Energizer Holdings reports 2026 second quarter results

Energizer Holdings has released its results for the second quarter of fiscal 2026, showing mixed performance: sales dipped slightly, but profits improved a lot.

Sales fell about 3% to $643 million, mainly because of weaker demand and timing changes in orders. However, the company made more money per product and controlled costs better.

Profit performance was much stronger:

Adjusted earnings per share rose to $0.94 (up from $0.39 last year)
Profit margins improved significantly due to pricing changes and cost savings

The company’s official earnings (GAAP) were lower at $0.15 per share because of one-off costs like restructuring.
