ALKOR recognised among top 2% of businesses for sustainability

The Groupe ALKOR has strengthened its sustainability credentials after being ranked among the top 2% of companies in the wholesale trade sector by EcoVadis.

The cooperative has renewed its EcoVadis Gold Medal for 2026, while significantly improving its overall score from 77/100 in 2025 to 84/100 this year.

The recognition highlights ALKOR’s continued progress in its corporate social responsibility (CSR) approach and reflects the efforts of its teams, members, partners and suppliers.

Founded in 1958, ALKOR is an independent cooperative specialising in the distribution of office, school and early-years supplies. It now has 130 members and more than 200 employees, with a catalogue of over 22,000 products.

The latest EcoVadis assessment marks a further step forward in the cooperative’s sustainability journey, following its first Gold Medal recognition in 2025 and Silver Medal in 2024.
