Avery Expands UK Credentials Offer with We Print Lanyards Acquisition
Avery’s credentials division, part of CCL Industries, has acquired Humphreys Holdings Limited – known commercially as We Print Lanyards- a privately owned designer and manufacturer of bespoke lanyards, name badges and ID cards based in Long Eaton. The 2024 financial year saw We Print Lanyards generate around £2.2 million in sales, with an estimated adjusted EBITDA margin of 25 per cent.
The transaction is an all-cash, debt-free deal valued at approximately £3 million, subject to customary closing conditions. “This acquisition continues to build on Avery’s rapidly growing portfolio of access control, badging and credentials technologies, products and brands focused on the retail, hospitality, live-events and conferencing markets,” said CCL Industries CEO Geoff Martin.
