Avery labels go green

Avery Dennison introduces new eco-friendly range to include digital printers, labels and tags.

Sustainable ADvantage, a new flagship products and solutions portfolio that it hopes will set a benchmark for innovation and sustainability, launches today.

According to Avery Dennison, the solutions within the range include adhesives that enable more plastic to be recycled. There is also water-efficient digital printers, labels and tags made with 100% certified paper. Plus, there are industrial tapes to replace heavier fasteners, compostable paper packaging for shipping, digital ID technologies. There are also tools and services to empower companies to make their operations more sustainable.

At the same time, the company hopes that its product range will contribute directly to its 2030 goal. This goal is to provide a portfolio of products and solutions that will satisfy the recycling, composting or reuse requirements of single-use consumer packaging. They also want to support its ambition to be net-zero on greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
