BIC backs four projects supporting education and inclusion

The BIC Corporate Foundation has selected four organisations to receive support through its 2026 Call for Projects, helping to advance education, creativity and inclusion for children and young people in underserved communities.

Over the next three years, the Foundation and local BIC entities will provide co-funding to projects in Nigeria, Greece, Ukraine and Kenya, helping the organisations expand their impact within their communities.

In Nigeria, Slum2School Africa will deliver community-led educational support, including teacher training, scholarships, health services and technology-enabled learning. ActionAid Hellas, in Greece, will engage young people in sustainable development, climate action and food systems through creative and civic activities.

In Ukraine, Ukrainian Down Syndrome will develop accessible educational resources designed to support people with intellectual disabilities, helping build communication skills, healthy life habits and greater independence.

Meanwhile, The Art of Music Foundation in Kenya will expand access to music education for children and young people from underserved communities in Nairobi, while supporting the development of creative skills among students and educators.

The four projects were selected by a committee of 19 BIC employees from across the company, with applications assessed on social impact, long-term sustainability and their potential to create lasting opportunities for young people.

The initiative forms part of the Foundation’s wider commitment to using creativity and education to break down barriers and build more inclusive communities. Since 2016, it has supported 77 projects across more than 29 countries.
