BIC celebrates 60th birthday

Leading stationery company, BIC, celebrates its 60th birthday in the US.

BIC marked the occasion with an award of $60,000 to fund 127 classroom projects through DonorsChoose.org. The non-profit organisation allows individuals to donate directly to public school classroom requests.

The donation, which is part of BIC’s commitment of $100,000 to the organisation in 2018, will therefore fund all handwriting projects in 14 states. The idea is to also leave a legacy for years to come.
