Stationery manufacturers, BIC, celebrates its first-ever Global Education Week to help improve learning conditions for children.
During the week at the start of October 2018, BIC team members around the globe are volunteering up to a day of work. The aim in this is to help to improve learning conditions for students within their local communities.
The event marked BIC’s support of its commitment to improving the learning conditions of 250 million children worldwide by 2025.
Education has the power to change the world,” said Gonzalve Bich, Chief Executive Officer of BIC. “Unfortunately, more than half of the world’s two billion children under the age of 14 are leaving school without achieving the minimum proficiency levels. At BIC, one of our long-standing core goals is to improve lives through education.”
