BIC launches razor recycling drive across Europe

BIC has launched a European razor recycling initiative as part of the EU-funded ABSolEU project, which aims to improve recycling of ABS plastic commonly used in razor handles.

Consumers are encouraged to drop off used razors at designated collection points to support the development of advanced recycling technologies.

The program reflects BIC’s commitment to sustainability and its 4R strategy (Reduce, Recycled, Refillable, Recyclable). It builds on earlier efforts like the Soleil Click 5 razor, which features over 40% recycled material. By participating, consumers help reduce plastic waste and contribute to a circular economy for personal care products.
