BIC releases H1 results

Stationery manufacturer BIC releases new results for 2020 revealing the strength of the business following Covid-19.

Despite a good start to the year, BIC’s results have been a little unsteady. However, this is largely to be expected as the pandemic continues it’s grip. Plus, as schools have been closed for a large amount of time, the demand for stationery has weakened.

Highlights from the report include:

• Improved short-term resilience thanks to prudent management of Operating Expenses
• Sustained Cash Flow Generation
• “BIC 2022 – Invent the Future” transformation plan on track to deliver 50 million euros annualised savings by the end of 2022
