BIC sharpens up for Covid-19 fight

Stationery manufacturer, BIC, starts manufacturing PPE to address the shortage for healthcare workers.

Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is in well-known short supply. However, as a crucial element against the fight of Covid-19, BIC began manufacturing face shields at several production sites. BIC then went about donating the equipment to local hospitals.

The stationery manufacturer is also partnering with other businesses and academic institutions to produce a full-face mask with air filtration. The company will then give these to hospitals, along with more than €1.3 Million of writing equipment and razors. These will go to support local community projects, hospitals, children and the homeless.
