BIC to wind down Rocketbook and Skin Creative

Global consumer products company BIC has announced it will discontinue the Rocketbook smart notebook brand and its related Skin Creative businesses, including Inkbox and Tattly.
The decision follows a strategic business review of the brands, which concluded that the units were not meeting BIC’s growth and profitability targets. As a result, the company will wind down operations for Rocketbook and the associated tattoo businesses over the coming months.
Despite the planned closure, BIC has stated that the decision is not expected to have a material impact on its 2025 financial outlook.
The move reflects BIC’s broader focus on streamlining its portfolio and concentrating resources on its core product categories, where it sees stronger alignment with long-term growth ambitions.
