Durable converts to produce PPE

Workplace solutions specialist, Durable, transforms some areas of the business so that it can work to produce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Instead of loose-leaf binders, folders and name badges, Durable’s production in Gotha, Germany is producing face visors. These will help shield those in direct contact with customers and co-workers.

The demand for PPE has grown since the Covid-19 outbreak as many key workers seek to protect themselves from the spread of the disease.

The transparent plastic visor covers the mouth, nose and eyes and forms a barrier. This minimises the exchange of droplets between people in personal contact. The wearer’s face is still clearly visible and his or her facial expressions are recognisable.

Face visors can can be completely disinfected and reused.
