Durable rides on!

A team of four from Durable UK tackled the inaugural Ride of Life on Friday 7 September.

Team Durable raised £14,000 in aid of the Institute of Cancer Research, after taking on the gruelling Ride of Life.

In total, there were 25 riders, including the 4 from Durable UK. The route took cyclists around the roads and hills of Surrey, totalling a challenging 100km ride. The route included the iconic climbs of Leith Hill and Box Hill, which was one of the settings for the 2012 Olympic Road Race.

Sean Starkey, MD of DURABLE UK and one of the Organising Committee said, “I was touched by the good spirits and happiness of everyone over the day. What a pleasure to feel that we have made a difference whilst having a lot of fun in the process!”

The team are still accepting donations on their Just Giving page.
