Former BIC CEO passes

BIC’s former CEO Bruno Bich has passes away at the age of 74.

Son of company founder Marcel Bich, Bruno devoted́ most of his professional life to BIC, joining the firm’s US subsidiary in 1975, at the age of 28. He eventually led BIC Corp – firmly establishing the brand in the North American market – for 11 years, before becoming Group CEO in 1993, a post he held for 13 years. Following that, he was Chairman until his retirement in 2018.
