Global News: Messe Frankfurt forms strategic alliance in India
Paperworld organiser Messe Frankfurt has revealed it has entered into a strategic alliance with the exhibition division of Netlink Solutions India, Gifts and Accessories.
Messe Frankfurt will be marking its 20th anniversary in India this year, and now holds 22 trade fairs and 35 conferences in its portfolio.
As part of the agreement, the Stationery and Write Show, which is approaching its fourth year, will now be named the ‘Stationery and Write Show presented by Paperworld’.
Netlink Promoter and Wholetime Director Minesh Modi said: “We are confident of taking the Stationery and Write Show presented by Paperworld to its next stage of development and deliver a quality platform for business and networking.”
Messe Frankfurt says it will leverage its knowledge and expertise in the industry to support further development of the show. The association between the two organisers is also expected to include joint marketing and customer-engagement strategies.
Messe Frankfurt Trade Fares India Managing Director Raj Manek said: “The strategic factors that led to the association is based on common business principles to provide enhanced exhibition experiences. While we aim to enhance the quality of the platform with new propositions for our domestic clients, the alliance will also open the doors for our international exhibitors to tap intothe growing market segments represented at the trade fair.”
Last year, the Stationery and Write Show featured 375 exhibitors and over 12,000 visitors. The fourth edition will be held on 9-12 January 2019 at the Mumbai Exhibition Centre.
