Henkel reveals strong first-half performance

Henkel has upgraded its sales outlook for 2026 after reporting strong organic growth and improved earnings in the first half of the year.
The company recorded group sales of €10.3 billion, with organic sales growth of 3.2 per cent. Adjusted operating profit increased to €1.62 billion, while its adjusted EBIT margin rose to 15.7 per cent. Earnings per preferred share also increased by 7.1 per cent at constant exchange rates to €2.86.
Both of Henkel’s business units contributed to the performance. Adhesive Technologies delivered organic sales growth of 4.5 per cent, while Consumer Brands grew 1.7 per cent, driven particularly by strong performance in its Hair business.
Henkel also continued to expand through acquisitions, completing four of five planned transactions worth around €5 billion.
Following the results, Henkel raised its forecast for 2026 organic group sales growth from 1-3 per cent to 1.5-3.5 per cent, while its Adhesive Technologies guidance increased to 2-4 per cent.
