Henkel’s new state of the art warehouse in Spain

Henkel has invested in a state-of the art logistics centre in Barcelona expand its production capabilities.

The Spanish site will cater to Henkel’s Laundry and Homecare division. It will also expand its production capabilities with a new packaging line for liquid detergents.

The new logistics centre will be fully operational by 2020 and will feature a warehousing space of 24,000 square meters. The facility will run on robotised processes and automation systems. The new warehouse will also help supply-chain processes much more efficient and sustainable.

The new site in Barcelona, Montornès del Vallès will be built on top of Henkel’s existing production site. The site has been in operation for more than 50 years and already employs around 500 people. Hopefully, Montornès del Vallès will become the new European Hub for the aerospace industry, making it an extremely existing place for Henkel’s expansion.
