Newell Brands ‘Finding Untapped Efficiencies and Leverage’ (FUEL) is a new corporate-wide programme to improve performance.
FUEL was presented by CEO Ravi Saligram and CFO Chris Peterson.
Actions will include further significant SKU reductions, weeding out some of the unproductive legacy systems that still exist across Newell’s portfolio of businesses, and controlling overheads.
As far as Newell’s quarterly results go, the company confirmed that the Writing division achieved better-than-expected core growth.
