OD+ partners with 3Bee to bring biodiversity lessons into schools

OD+ is supporting Italian nature-tech company 3Bee to help young people discover the importance of biodiversity through its “A scuola di biodiversità” (School of Biodiversity) initiative, an educational programme designed to bring environmental awareness into classrooms.

The project aims to teach primary school pupils about the role of pollinators, the importance of protecting ecosystems and how everyday actions can help safeguard the planet. Through a series of interactive lessons, practical activities and digital resources, students learn about biodiversity in an engaging and accessible way.

The programme includes 15 educational modules, classroom workshops and access to a digital platform where pupils can follow the progress of a technologically monitored beehive. The initiative has already involved hundreds of classes and thousands of children, creating a new generation of “ambassadors of change” for the environment.

By combining science, technology and hands-on learning, 3Bee hopes to inspire children to understand the value of nature and take an active role in protecting biodiversity for the future.
