OD+ takes biodiversity lessons continue!

BPGi member and office supplies and services company OD+ is helping to inspire the next generation to protect nature through a new biodiversity education project with scientific partner 3Bee.

Over the past school year, the initiative has supported a primary school in Pavia, close to OD+’s logistics hub in San Cipriano Po, involving six classes and around 100 pupils.

As part of the project, five homes for wild pollinators have been installed around the school, alongside five bilingual educational signs. Hive-Tech technology is also being used to monitor biometric data from the hive, including temperature, humidity and sound, in real time.

The project has a strong educational focus, with 15 classroom lessons and practical workshops designed to help children discover and understand the natural world.

Teachers have also brought the project to life through the educational story The Ladybird Who Wanted to Say Thank You.

The initiative forms part of a three-year partnership focused on protecting biodiversity and investing in a more sustainable future for younger generations.
