Staedtler’s upcycled pencils bear official environmental mark

STAEDTLER become the world’s first manufacturer to receive recognition from TÜV Rheinland for the new “Green Product Mark Writing Instruments” certification.

All coloured and graphite pencils made from recycled wood will receive this internationally recognised and trustworthy certification, highlighting Staedtler’s extensive commitment to sustainability.

The receive the “Green Product” label, TÜV Rheinland, one of the world’s leading testing providers, examines the entire life cycle of a product. It looks at social standards during production, durability and product safety, right through to whether it can be recycled.

The test mark is therefore one of the most demanding of its kind in the world.
