Adriano Alessio, Managing Director of dealer group Gruppo In Ufficio and President of AIFU (Italian association of office suppliers), told The Office Times that sales for its dealers were up 2% in 2017 (until the end of September) and that October was a very strong month.
In Ufficio is the only remaining dealer group in the Italian B2B market and counts 24 dealer members with a total turnover of €130 million.
Adriano Alessio sees opportunities in new growth categories such as hygiene and catering as the Italian market is more reliant on traditional office supplies, paper and ink & toner compared to other European markets.
