Duracell unveils partnership with Disney, Marvel and Hasbro

Duracell has partnered with Disney, Marvel and Hasbro to offer retailers a range of bespoke POS kits and display tools to “spearhead category value growth this spring”.

The brand is offering retailers campaign specific POS tools, including FSDUs, totems, arches, circular fins and shelf stopper designs, to sit on the battery shelf and in the toy aisle to “drive cross category purchase”, as Duracell claims 25% of all batteries are used to power children’s toys.

Duracell is supporting the partnership with a digital, social media and print campaign, as well as a TV advert running until mid-May. A competition offering consumers the chance to win one of 50 Iron Man Titan Hero Power FX Action Figures on the brand’s social channels, will also be running.

Christina Turner, Duracell UK, said: “We are continuously reviewing our marketing strategies to ensure we are driving mass awareness among consumers out of home and effectively engaging and converting shoppers to purchase at point of sale.”
